We (Brannon's family + my sister and her friend) participated in a fundraiser for the local library this afternoon. We did great in the categories of 'The Written Word' (ok, we did sorta good here), 'Sports', 'Sex, Drugs and Rock 'N Roll' and 'The Rideau Canal' (a special thanks to Stacie); in fact, we were only a few points off the lead. HOWEVER, we fell apart in the 'Potpourri' category that consisted of questions pertaining to nursery rhymes (you would think this was easy but it was NOT), horses (too random), and teen idols and we took a nose-dive off the leader board. It wasn't all bad though...we won a basket of chocolate :)
Regardless of our overall poor showing we still had fun (the bar was open...lol), raised some money, and learned what we should study up on on for next year! I know we can beat the "Your Health, Our Promise" team next year.
