Autumn Anniversary

I had the extreme pleasure of spending some time on Monday with Susan, Dominic and their very handsome little men. Sue and Dom were celebrating their fifth wedding anniversary and thought it would be a good time to take some family photos. Nic was under-the -weather and couldn't participate for much of the shoot, but Ben certainly made up for it with his energy! I look forward to our next get-together in hopes that we'll get some more of Nic.

Fall in the Ferry

So it's been a long time since I've added any photos to my blog; hopefully I'll be able to get my act together and post on a more regular basis from now on.

Brannon and I went home and had Thanksgiving Dinner with both of our families. This view might be a bit familiar :)
They've been cropped and I added a signature and a frame, but the photos themselves (in terms of colour, etc.) are straight-out-of-the-camera.

Back to Autumn

After a couple of days of wedding shots I thought I'd post some more Thanksgiving weekend shots from the lake; oh how I'm going to miss these colours when they're all finished :(

Arrival of Autumn!

I went for a nice autumn walk yesterday......yep, fall is here.....those are soy beans in the forefront. I love the colours!

Autumn decor

So, this week's theme is "Autumn Days" but autumn isn't really here yet. One of my neighbours has decorated her front step already though, so I snapped a shot today after work. Here's hoping this doesn't end up as my contest entry :(

A wonderful afternoon

I phoned my parents upon my return from San Diego to let them know that I was home safe-and-sound, and I was reminded that I hadn't been there for a visit in over a month (I live a mere hour away from them) so I decided to drive to Rideau Ferry for the afternoon yesterday. My dad is a bit of a weekend couch-potato and the tv is always on; given that it was Remembrance Day yesterday he was watching all that there was to watch: OLD WAR MOVIES. This is not what I went to visit for and my mother wasn't feeling well so I decided to head outside and take some pictures. Two hours later and with a full memory card, here are a few of my favourites from this glorious autumn afternoon.
